When Deane Wymer founded Wymer Tax and Accounting from his home in Fairview forty-two years ago, he never dreamed his company would grow so much and so rapidly. In 2004 the Wymer Brownlee office in Enid opened, forming the second location. In 2009, the company expanded into the Tulsa market and later merged with John Mansfield, forming a larger presence in Tulsa and an office in Bartlesville. Today the Tulsa and Bartlesville offices operate as Wymer Brownlee Mansfield. A year later, Wymer Brownlee expanded into the Oklahoma City market and created the firm’s fifth location.

Headquartered in Enid, Wymer Brownlee was recognized as the 2011 Best Place to Work in Oklahoma and the 19th Best Accounting Place to Work in the country. With over 50 employees in 2011, the company mission of changing lives and exceeding the expectations of our team and clients is stronger than ever.

Kyle Brownlee went to work for Wymer in 1999 and became a partner two years later. Leveraging his background in tax and accounting, Kyle realized financial stability in a client’s life was best addressed by covering all areas that impact finances—now and in the future. Guiding families and business owners on ways to potentially create, accumulate, protect and transfer wealth is the focus of his company.

Brownlee, who now operates the company alongside his brother, Aaron, has built a team of tax and accounting specialists, asset managers, and business consultants to provide personalized assistance and many resources in one place at Wymer Brownlee. “Our multi-faceted team is here to address retirement, tax preparation, college planning, asset management, risk management (insurance) and business solutions for our clients,” says Kyle.
