Candance's path to tax work is one of the best origin stories around: she went in for a routine tax appointment, started asking questions, couldn't stop, and the enrolled agent told her that kind of curiosity belongs in the field. She took the courses, went back to school for her accounting degree, and never looked back.
Nine years later, she's working toward her EA and still gets a kick out of when tax laws change because to her, that's just another opportunity to learn. A Detroit native who's called the Oklahoma City area home for 14 years, she coaches with Red Coyote Running and Fitness Club in the fall and swears by The Collective's Enoki Eats for the best vegan steak you didn't know you needed.
