Derek Wymer

Since the very beginning, Derek has been an integral part of the Wymer Brownlee story. It all started in the early 1970s when he first started helping his dad Deane copy tax returns and sort checks. That early start grew into a decades-long partnership, and by 1987, Derek had taken on an office of his own.

These days, Derek lives just outside of Longdale in his grandparent's house where his dad opened their very first office. He's also a proud member of the Fairview Lions Club, and on the weekends, you can find him drag racing, snow skiing, or even doing a little carpentry here and there.

Around the office, Derek is famous for something else entirely: Stroganoff Shells and White Minestrone Soup, which he cooks up for the Fairview team during the long hours of tax season. He’s also known for always having an old movie quote or two in his back pocket, like “Not sure,” from Idiocracy.
