Tyler grew up in Okarche, Oklahoma, left for a while, and made his way back in 2024, which says a lot about what his hometown means to him. He played college baseball at Redlands before going on to earn both his bachelor's and master's in accounting from Oklahoma State, and he's been in tax and accounting ever since.
Tyler came to Wymer Brownlee the old-fashioned way: a coworker told him it was a great place to work, and he made sure to be first in line when a spot opened up.
As Tax Director, his favorite part is sitting down with clients early for tax planning and projections to help them make smart decisions before taxes ever come due.
On the weekends, you can find Tyler coaching kids baseball, hunting, fishing, and spending time outside with his family. He also likes to cook, and if you're ever passing through Okarche, he'll point you to Sunny Sips for a fresh-squeezed lemonade.
